About the Platform

Togo's Climate Information and Investment Platform — (Plateforme Togolaise d'Information Climatique et d'Investissement) is a dedicated digital resource developed to support Togo's private sector in navigating the climate finance landscape. The platform provides centralized access to climate data, investment opportunities, advisory services, and practical knowledge resources — in both French and English.
The platform was developed with the support of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the Government of Togo, represented by the Delegate Ministry Responsible for Trade and Quality Control, the Ministry of the Environment, Forest Resources, Coastal Protection, and Climate Change and the Delegate Ministry Responsible for Investment Promotion and Economic Sovereignty. It is part of a broader effort to strengthen Togo's capacity to mobilize and deploy climate finance in support of the country's Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) and sustainable development goals.
About PTICI
Our Mission

Accessible Climate Finance

Our mission is to make climate information and climate finance accessible, transparent, and actionable for Togo's businesses, entrepreneurs, and investors. We believe that Togo's private sector is a critical driver of climate-resilient economic development — and that better information leads to better investment decisions. The platform serves as a bridge between international climate finance systems and local private sector actors, reducing barriers to entry and supporting Togo's transition to a climate-resilient, low-carbon economy.

Our Background

The platform was conceived in response to a clearly identified gap: despite the existence of significant international climate finance resources, Togo's private sector actors — particularly SMEs — lacked a structured, accessible, and bilingual resource to navigate funding opportunities, understand climate data, and connect with advisory expertise. The platform was developed over six months (October 2025 to March 2026) through a consultative process involving FAO, MERF, ANSAT (National Agency for Food Security), private sector representatives, and other national stakeholders. The development process included stakeholder mapping, needs assessment, platform architecture design, content development, data integration, and user testing.
The platform is designed to evolve over time. New funding opportunities, knowledge resources, and advisory services will be added regularly based on user needs and emerging climate finance developments.
